Fred Griffin is the Director of Instruction at the Grand Cypress Academy of Golf. Recognized by Golf Magazine as one of the Top 100 Teachers in America, Fred is responsible for the development of all of the golf instructional programs.

A popular book he co-authored with Dr. Ralph Mann, Swing Like A Pro, is the foundation of the academy's science-based teaching philosophy. He and Dr. Mann were at the forefront of teaching technology and golfer improvement, by using a science-based process of discovering each golfer’s proper movement pattern in a golf school setting. Fred has had the opportunity to work with some great players including Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, Brad Faxon, Payne Stewart, Liselotte Nuemann, Nancy Scranton, Vicky Hurst, Simin Feng, Ji Hee Lee, and Lisa Walters.
